What is the Magic e Quick-Fire Relay?
A fast, whole-class team race through the same bank of 63 Magic e words, covering a_e, i_e, o_e and u_e. Split the class into two or three teams: each team gets its own board, the word is said twice, a whistle blows, and the first team to get it right wins a bonus star.
The game follows the PDF stage by stage:
Picture Relay: hear the word, then find its picture.
Connect the Sounds: choose the missing sound that joins the rest of the word.
Word & Picture Match: join each word to its picture.
Word Grid Challenge: look at the picture and listen, then find the word.
Words Relay: just listen, then find the word: no picture to help. It is how the word-only sets are played, and a new extra stage for every set.

Play in the classroom or at home, on the whiteboard, a computer, a tablet or a phone.
Two or three teams: every team plays the same words on its own board. The first team to finish gets a bonus star, and ⏯ pauses the game while the next players come up.
One player: the same slides on one board, with gentle feedback and no timer.

Everything you need, nothing to prepare
63 Magic e words in seven picture sets: two each for a_e, i_e and o_e, and one for u_e.
Choose your words on the Master Card: whole sets, or single words from across the sets to make your own list, and pick the stages you want.
Hear every word: every word is recorded, said twice at the start of each round, Hear it again repeats it, and you can tap a picture to hear its word.
Tap, then tick to check: green for correct, red to try again.
Points on screen for every answer right first time, a bonus star for the first team to finish, and a results page with the words to practise.
Mute button for the spoken words (game sounds stay on), and Full for full screen.
