What is CVCC True or False?

Children read a CVCC word or a short sentence, look at the picture, and decide: True or False? Does the word sing really go with that picture of a boy kicking a ball?

Because the picture only helps if they read the word properly, children have to read every sound, right to the end of the word. It’s quick, it’s fun, and it builds comprehension as children move on to words that end with a blend.
